Bentley M. Fisher

Bentley M. Fisher grew up in Fort Walton Beach, FL, attending Pryor Middle School and Choctawhatchee High School.  He received his undergraduate degree in political science from Florida State University in 2008. He then moved to Miami, to attend law school at St. Thomas University, graduating with his J.D. in 2011, at the age of 24.

Bentley joined the firm in 2011, and initially spent several years in the Fort Walton Beach office learning the practice of Wills, Trusts, and Estates. The combination of the firm growing, having an office location in downtown Pensacola, and Bentley’s fondness for the area, he then moved to and started a family in Pensacola.

Bentley limits his practice to Wills, Trusts, and Estates. He has handled over a hundred estate, Trust, and inheritance disputes, administered over a thousand Trusts and estates, and helped countless families with their estate planning and nursing home Medicaid needs.

Litigation cases can range from advocating for a family member that has been cheated out of their inheritance, to defending a Trustee falsely accused of embezzlement.  He will take depositions, attend hearings, and try cases before a judge or jury.  He handled his first appellate case to successful conclusion in 2013 and has since been back before the 1st District Court of Appeal on two more occasions.

Bentley Fisher handles the following types of litigation cases: Will and Trust contests, fraud, duress and undue influence, and fiduciary litigation.  In addition, he also handles nursing home Medicaid applications, new Trusts, Wills, and probate cases.
